The Kurdistan Gold Mines Development Company intends to select a qualified contractor to carry out tailings removal and extraction operations at the Qolqoleh gold mine located in Saqqez County, Kurdistan Province, through a two-stage public tender with a comprehensive qualitative assessment and technical evaluation.
1- Subject of the tender: Tailings removal and extraction of the Qalqol-e-Saqez gold mine, including the implementation of preparation, drilling and blasting operations, extraction (harvesting), depot, loading, transportation and unloading of mineral and tailings in the amount of 4.7 million tons, equivalent to 7.1 million cubic meters, over a period of 3 years in the Qalqol-e-Saqez gold mine with an average transportation distance of 2 kilometers, and leveling and maintenance of mine roads and other related operations.
2- Duration of work: Three years from the date of notification of the contract.
3- Conditions for participants:
A- Possession of a valid qualification certificate from the National Planning and Budget Organization in each of the following fields:
1) Industry and Mining "at least rank three"
2) Mining and land exploration "at least rank three"
3) Roads and transportation "at least rank three"
4) Land exploration "rank one"
B) Possession of similar work experience
C- Possession of technical, financial, and equipment and machinery required
D- Possession of a valid certificate of qualification for firing (or contract with a firing company with a valid certificate of qualification for firing)
E- Possession of a valid safety qualification certificate from the Ministry of Labor, Cooperatives and Social Welfare; other information and details are included in the tender documents.
4- Amount of the guarantee for participation in the tender: 223,341,225,000 Rials, a valid bank guarantee that can be extended for three months, which must be submitted at the stage of submitting the documents along with the proposal.
