The first batch of production line equipment for the Sahgiz Gold Refinery Project was transferred to the construction site on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, according to the public relations office of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company.
According to the project's construction manager, following the completion of the manufacturing process and the approval of relevant inspectors, the first batch of production line equipment, including the complete set of primary and secondary crusher department equipment, was delivered and transported to the project site.
Mohammad Reza Moradi, the project manager, added that equipment for other production line departments, including the complete sets for grinding, thickening, filtration, compressed air compressors, boilers, power plant equipment, and more, are nearing the final stages of manufacturing and will be delivered to the site in the coming months.
In parallel with this operation, concreting of the foundations related to the installation of equipment, structures, and sheds in each section is under construction. He expressed hope that with the intensive and, of course, precise implementation of the plans made by the company, we will witness the operation of the production line of the Saqqez gold extraction plant by the end of this year.
