With the $65 million investment by Sadr Tamin through the Kurdistan Gold Mines Development Company in the Saqqez gold extraction plant construction project, 500 direct jobs will be created in the Kurdistan region.
Wednesday, August 14, 1403, during a one-day visit by the CEO, board members, and senior managers of Sadr Tamin Investment Company to Kurdistan Province, the progress of the Saqqez gold extraction plant construction project was reviewed in the presence of Ali Nouri, Deputy Coordinator of Economic Affairs of the Kurdistan Governorate.
Amir Hossein Naderi, CEO of Tasicco, during his visit to the Saghez Gold Refinery construction site, stated that given the climatic constraints in the Kurdistan region, the project plan should be designed in such a way that the progress of the project remains consistent even during the cold and freezing months of the year, without facing challenges.
He expressed gratitude to the CEO and other managers and personnel of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company, as well as to the contractors and workers, urging them to give their utmost efforts to ensure the success of the project, which has been recognized as a driving force for the economy of Kurdistan.
The construction of the Saghez Gold Refinery, with a production capacity of 500 kilograms of gold bullion per year, is located 15 kilometers from the Saghez-Baneh road in the Saghez County of Kurdistan Province.
This project, undertaken by Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company, a subsidiary of Sadr Tamin, began in the spring of 2023 and is currently 35% complete. The execution of the project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
