n this meeting, Moghdad Majdi, CEO of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company, presented a report on the company's latest status, special actions, and ongoing projects in the first half of 2024. The CEO highlighted the completion of additional exploration activities at the Qaleh Gold Mine and the increase in the proven reserves from 13 million tons to 18 million tons (with the gold content rising from 12 tons to 15 tons). Additionally, the company successfully integrated four new exploration areas around the Qaleh Mine, covering approximately 100 square kilometers, marking significant achievements for the company in the first half of 2024.

During the meeting, a comprehensive report was provided on the performance of the Qaleh Gold Mine in areas such as exploration during extraction, infrastructure development (construction of the access road to the mine and improvement of access routes), mining extraction, and the exploration of four new mineral zones by Mousavi, the Director of Mining Affairs at Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company. Moradi, the Engineering and Execution Manager and Project Manager of the company, also presented an update on the progress of equipment construction for the project, civil operations, and the impacts of the new project plan for the construction of the Saghez Gold Refinery.
This new plan is aimed at reducing project execution time and investment costs, while also increasing the capacity of the tailings storage facility. At the end of the meeting, Amir Hossein Naderi, expressing gratitude for the actions taken, emphasized the need for intensified efforts to achieve the set goals. He expressed hope that the project would reach the cold test stage by the end of the year, as per the scheduled timeline.
