Accomplished through the round-the-clock efforts of the Kurdistan Gold Mine Development Company

Following the recent snowfall in Kurdistan Province, which has been unprecedented in recent years, the routes leading to the Kurdistan Gold Development Plant, as well as the transportation and access routes to many villages in Saghez County, were blocked.
According to the Public Relations Department of Sadr Tamin Investment Company (TASICO), the recent snowfall in Kurdistan Province, which in some areas exceeded half a meter and even approached one meter, had created problems for the people and residents of the villages surrounding Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company. As a result, even service organizations such as the Electricity Department were unable to provide services or reconnect these villages to the national electricity grid without the blocked routes being reopened.
Eventually, starting on Monday of the previous week, Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company began operations to reopen the transportation routes and access roads to the villages of Saghez County. Using four of its own pieces of machinery, including a bulldozer, a grader, and two loaders, the company succeeded in reopening the designated transportation routes by the end of Thursday.
The areas and routes of the villages of Mazoujdar, Tamouteh, Kandeh-Sureh, Cheragh-Veys, Mito, Sheveh-To, Mameh Sha Islamabad, the area around the village of Kileh-Shin, Khaporeh Deh, the village of Sonj, and Hermeileh, among others, were among the villages in Saghez County whose routes were cleared of snow in the shortest possible time through the round-the-clock efforts of more than eleven employees of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company and the deployment of multiple pieces of machinery. In addition, the main Saghez–Baneh road and the area around the Mireh-Deh police station were also affected by heavy snowfall and were reopened during the recent operation so that the people and residents of these villages could return to their daily lives and would not face problems caused by the accumulation of heavy snow and the blockage of transportation routes.
It is worth noting that one of the loaders belonging to Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company was also used on Friday of the previous week and yesterday (Saturday, 13 Dey) to reopen rural routes and continues to be used for this purpose.
During and after the reopening of the snow-covered and blocked routes and the villages affected by the recent heavy snowfall, the villagers welcomed the personnel of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company and ultimately expressed their gratitude for the efforts made to carry out this operation.
