The performance evaluation meeting for the first six months of the year 2025 for the Kurdistan Gold Development Company was held.
The six-month performance review meeting for the first half of the 1404 financial year, ending on September 22, 2025, of Kurdistan Gold Development Company, one of the subsidiaries of TASICO, was held on Tuesday, October 21, with the participation of the deputies and senior managers of Sadr Tamin Investment Company (TASICO) and Kurdistan Gold Development Company at the TASICO conference hall. At this meeting, Moqdad Majdi, CEO of the company, provided explanations regarding the measures that had been undertaken and the measures planned for the company, in the form of a six-month performance report, and stated: “The Kurdistan Gold Plant project has made satisfactory progress, and if financing is secured, it can reach operation and production in accordance with the schedule.” He added: “In the mining sector as well, the extraction plan is being pursued and implemented in the short , medium and long term.” Kurdistan Gold Development Company, with the objective of exploring, extracting, and processing gold and associated metals, is one of the strategic companies of the TASICO holding company, and the main objectives of this company include utilizing the proven reserves of the gold mines along the Saghez–Baneh corridor. Soroush Kiani, Acting Deputy for Strategy and Oversight of TASICO’s Subsidiary Companies, also stated at the meeting: “Social and environmental considerations, as integral components of the Kurdistan Gold Project, have been emphasized by the TASICO holding company, and no action will be undertaken outside compliance with the principles of these considerations.”
