The Annual General Meeting of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company for the financial year ended 1404 was held on Monday, 22 Tir, with the participation of 100 percent of the company’s individual and legal shareholders, and it was announced that the company’s first gold bullion is expected to be produced by the end of this year.
According to the Public Relations Department of Sadr Tamin Investment Company (TASICO), the financial statements of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company were approved at the General Meeting.
Behzad Allahyari, CEO of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company, provided an overview of the company’s performance during the past year, explaining the physical and financial progress of the project. He stated that the project had achieved 71 percent progress in the plant section, 82 percent in infrastructure, and 5 percent in the tailings storage facility.
Soroush Kiani, Chairman of the General Meeting and Deputy for Strategy and Oversight of TASICO’s Subsidiary Companies, speaking about the construction project of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company and its progress, said: “Considering the progress achieved in the Kurdistan Gold Project, it is anticipated that the first gold bullion of Kurdistan will be produced this year.”
He added: “One of the issues that must be given attention is that the recruitment of human resources for this company has been planned through a transparent and competitive process, with priority given to employing qualified local specialists. Public notification should be made at the appropriate time to enable all eligible applicants to participate.”
Kiani, referring to Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company as the most environmentally friendly gold plant in the country, added: “Throughout the production process, the company’s gold production has been designed and implemented in a manner that will ensure the highest level of compatibility with the environment.”
