The Teachers’ Day commemoration ceremony was held at Islamic Azad University of Saghez in the presence of the Governor and officials of Saghez County, professors, and activists in the field of education.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the organizers expressed their appreciation for the support and participation of the institutions and organizations that played a supportive role in holding the event and emphasized the importance of recognizing the status of teachers and their central role in the scientific and cultural development of society.
Nomanian, the respected Deputy Governor and Deputy Governor-General of Saghez County, addressed the issue of educational equity and noted that a significant portion of the county’s capacities, particularly its mines, should be utilized within the framework of corporate social responsibility to improve the level of education and promote the development of the county.
Allahyari, CEO of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company, while expressing his appreciation to the Governor-General’s Office of Saghez County and other county officials for providing the necessary foundations for public service, congratulated all professors and educators on Teachers’ Day and described their role in the expansion of knowledge and management as highly influential.
He provided explanations about Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company, stating that the company was established in 1392 and that the organization is affiliated with the Social Security Investment Company (SHASTA).
The company’s activities have played a significant role in economic development and job creation in the region. With a committed approach toward sustainable development and the creation of lasting social value, the company has taken extensive and valuable steps in the field of corporate social responsibility in recent years, including road construction, equipping schools and mosques, providing educational aids for schools, constructing a sports hall, and other initiatives.
Allahyari added that these activities are part of the company’s commitment to the comprehensive development of the county and improving the quality of life of the region’s residents, and that the company continues to consider itself responsible for maintaining these efforts and playing a constructive and effective role in the advancement of the county and Kurdistan Province.
The ceremony concluded with appreciation for the status of teachers and an emphasis on the role of education in the advancement of society.
