Visit by Chairman of the Board of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company to the Saghez Gold Recovery Plant Project
According to the Public Relations Department of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company visited the site of the Saghez Gold Recovery Plant project to review the progress of executive operations and the various technical and infrastructure sections of this major industrial and mining project. During the visit, the latest physical progress of the project, activities carried out in the field of equipment installation, infrastructure preparation, technical and executive planning, as well as the process of supplying the project’s requirements were reviewed. The Chairman of the Board also held discussions with managers, consultants, and executive personnel and was briefed on the details of ongoing activities, challenges, and the schedule for completing the project. On the sidelines of the visit, emphasizing the strategic importance of the Saghez Gold Recovery Plant project in the development of the mining and mineral industries sector of Kurdistan Province, he stated that the implementation of this project represents an effective step toward the optimal utilization of the region’s mineral capacities, creating added value, promoting economic development, generating sustainable employment, and strengthening the province’s industrial infrastructure. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company also emphasized the need to accelerate the implementation of the project and stressed the importance of greater coordination among the various executive, technical, and support departments. He called for continued efforts to complete the project within the framework of the planned schedule. The Saghez Gold Recovery Plant project, as one of the major industrial and mining projects in the region, will play a significant role in unlocking the mineral capacities of Saghez County and Kurdistan Province. Its commissioning can pave the way for transformation across the production chain, increased productivity, and balanced regional development.
