Shahabeddin Yasemi was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kurdistan Gold Company by an order issued by Seyed Alireza Siasat-Rad, CEO of Sadr Tamin Investment Company (TASICO). According to the Public Relations Department of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company, at the beginning of the ceremony, Behzad Allahyari, CEO of Kurdistan Gold Mining Development Company, expressed his appreciation for the efforts and dedication of Dr. Firouzi and thanked him for his services and cooperation during his tenure. He also introduced the company’s managers and emphasized the importance of synergy and coordination in advancing the organization’s objectives. Shahabeddin Yasemi holds a PhD in Mining Engineering with a specialization in Mineral Processing and has held positions including Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chapar Samir Company, Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors of Asia Mining and Industrial Development Company, and Advisor to the Board of Directors of Atabak Mining Company. At the ceremony, Yasemi, referring to his professional experience since 1370 in the mining and industrial sectors, stated: “Kurdistan Province has very strong capacities and potential in the mining sector, and it is necessary for all managers to plan for the development of the region with a forward-looking and responsible approach.” Emphasizing the necessity of having a shared vision among managers, he added: “All managers should have this perspective: what effective action will they have taken for Saghez County over the next five years, and what impact will they have left on the development of this region?” Yasemi also referred to the company’s affiliation with the Social Security Investment Company (SHASTA) and said: “This mine belongs to the people of Saghez County, and the opportunities it creates must lead to the development of the county and the province.” He concluded by emphasizing: “All of the company’s activities and measures must be carried out within the framework of TASICO’s regulations, procedures, and bylaws, and we must move forward in full alignment with the policies and programs of this organization.”
